New Zealand in September
For someone more used to the climate of the Equator a week in New Zealand was a pleasant detour from the norm. It was September and therefore the Southern Hemispere Spring with temperatures between 10 and 20 degrees celsius. We hired a car and cruised the Southland stopping at Christchurch Queenstown Milford and Franz Joseph glacier which unfortunately the wild weather prevented us from seeing. However, we did manage to see the Big Donut at Springfield NZ courtesy of Matt Groenig and his publicity machine.
